We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers Panteras (13-11) lost on the road to fourth ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (15-9) 84-74 on Saturday. Halcones UV Xalapa looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by American forward Cameron Clark (201-1991, college: Oklahoma, agency: Slash Sports) who scored that evening 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Puerto Rican forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-1993, college: Manhattan) supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by American Brian Conklin (201-1989, college: St.Louis) did not help to save the game for Panteras. His fellow American import guard Gary Ricks (185-1991, college: Drake) added 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Halcones UV Xalapa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Astros. Loser Panteras dropped to the fourth position with 11 games lost. Halcones UV Xalapa will meet Astros (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Panteras will play against Mineros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
