There was no surprise in Guadalajara where 6th rankedMineros (11-17) were crushed by second ranked Astros (19-9) 106-76 on Saturday. Astros made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Mineros ' players. The game was also dominated by American players. Guard Jeff Ledbetter (191-1988, college: Idaho, agency: Slash Sports) scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Juvonte Reddic (206-1992, college: VCU) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Astros players scored in double figures. Astros' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Dion Wright (201-1993, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and guard Tyrone White (201-1990, college: CSUB) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Astros have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Fuerza Regia and Abejas. Mineros lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 17 games lost.
