There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 14th rankedPenarol (2-4) was outplayed by third ranked Ferro (6-2) 81-48 on Sunday. Ferro dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Penarol 's 22. They outrebounded Penarol 53-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Juan Ryzwaniuk (-2005) fired 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Salvador Baracat chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Ferro's coach Jonathan Laino felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Stefano Quattrocchio produced 10 points and 7 rebounds and forward Nicolas Chiaraviglio (199-2004) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ferro . They moved-up to second place. Loser Penarol keeps the fourteenth position with four games lost. They share it with San Lorenzo. Ferro will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Penarol will play against Instituto (#4) and hope to secure a win.
