The most exciting game of round 8 in the LUB took place in Montevideo. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 4th rankedMalvin (4-4) to second ranked Aguada (6-2) 87-85 on Thursday evening. Aguada made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American swingman Anthony Hilliard (195-1986, college: ECSU) replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Marcos Cabot (180-1989) added 16 points and 6 assists in the effort for Malvin. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aguada maintains second position with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader Nacional. Malvin at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Bigua.
