Very predictable result when second rankedNacional (12-2) rolled over 9th ranked Goes (5-10) in Montevideo 111-61 on Friday. Nacional dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Goes ' 36. They outrebounded Goes 35-20 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Goes ' players. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) nailed 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Sebastian Ottonello (200-1997) accounted for 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Nacional players scored in double figures. American guard Mustapha Heron (196-1997, college: St.John's) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Alex Lopez (186-1993) added 12 points respectively for Goes in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Nacional . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Penarol. Loser Goes keep the ninth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Cordon.
