Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:Nacional (#2) and Bigua (#6). Nacional (16-2) won against visiting Bigua (9-11) 71-67 . Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian forward Franco Giorgetti (203-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Nacional's coach Alvaro Ponce allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Josh Cunningham (203-1996, college: Dayton) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Martin Osimani (194-1981, college: Duquesne, agency: Pro Sports) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bigua. Nacional have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-2 record behind leader Penarol. Bigua at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Malvin.
