There was a minor upset in San Ignacio whereWestern Ballaz was defeated by Trojans 71-62 on Saturday. Trojans forced 20 Western Ballaz turnovers. American Jeremiah Toney (196-1998, college: Southwest, agency: One Motive Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Dartavious Young (201-1995, college: Everett CC) chipped in 11 points and 16 rebounds. At the losing side James Weatherspoon responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 21 rebounds and American swingman Mark Gordon (196, college: Keiser) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
