LMBPF top team -Mieleras (7-0) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Toritas (0-7) in Celaya 88-62 . Mieleras made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Guard Mayra Gil (174-2003) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international swingman Daniela Soto (177-1995) supported her with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by American swingman Eneily Rodriguez (175, college: St.Thomas, TX) did not help to save the game for Toritas . Susana Gonzalez added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Toritas players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mieleras have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-0 record, which they share with Libelulas. Loser Toritas still closes the standings with seven games lost.
