Everything went according to plan in Rio Gallegos where third rankedLanus (17-7) outleveled 9th ranked H.Americano (10-12) 82-60 on Saturday. Lanus shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for forward Martin Franchino (201-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Juan Cruz Scacchi (195-2001) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Lanus players scored in double figures. Forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) responded with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Gonzalo Torres (201-1994) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Lanus . They moved-up to second place. Loser H.Americano dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost.
