Regular Season Round 8: Mineras - Cinnamon 60-50

An interesting game for Mineras (7-2) which hosted in Zacatecas 4th ranked Cinnamon (1-7). Third ranked Mineras managed to get a 10-point victory 60-50. The winners were led by the former international guard Paola Estrada (172-1993) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Briahanna Jackson (168-1993, college: Louisville) supported her with 19 points. Even 15 points and 5 steals by guard Alma Dominguez (163-1997) did not help to save the game for Cinnamon. Yedid Espinosa added 8 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Mineras moved-up to second place, which they share with Quetzales. Loser Cinnamon keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Mineras will again meet at home Cinnamon (#4) in the next round. Cinnamon will have a break next round.
