No shocking result in a game when leaderMieleras (12-0) crushed 5th ranked Cinnamon (1-10) in Guanajuato 89-46 on Saturday. Mieleras dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Cinnamon 's 26. They outrebounded Cinnamon 47-26 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Frida Gonzalez (184-1992) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. The former international swingman Daniela Soto (177-1995) accounted for 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Mieleras players scored in double figures. Mieleras' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Colombian Yuli Viveros (-2001) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and Venezuelan guard Jormelys Urbina (170-1996) added 10 points respectively for Cinnamon in the defeat. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Mieleras . Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. Cinnamon lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. They share it with Blueskas.
