An interesting game forLibelulas (13-1) which hosted in Ciudad de Mexico 4th placed Toritas (2-12). First ranked Libelulas had an easy win 84-59 . Libelulas made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The former international swingman Ingrid Martinez (175-1995) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) for the winners and Anel Tapia chipped in 14 points. At the losing side Cuban Melissa Oleaga (-1998) responded with 17 points and Brenda Salazar scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Libelulas . They maintain first place with 13-1 record. Toritas lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost.
