An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Guanajuato. LeaderMieleras faced 3rd placed U-18 Fem . Host Mieleras (14-0) smashed guests from Mexicali (3-7) 89-50 . Mieleras dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to U-18 Fem 's 26. Mieleras forced 21 U-18 Fem turnovers and outrebounded them 60-31 including a 38-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mieleras looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Emmonnie Henderson (185-1994, college: Louisville) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. The former international swingman Daniela Soto (177-1995) helped adding 18 points. Four Mieleras players scored in double figures. Mieleras' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Grecia Martinez (-2006) with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Valeria Cachon (-2006) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the fourteenth consecutive win for Mieleras . Defending champion maintains first place with 14-0 record. U-18 Fem lost their third game in a row. They keep the third position with seven games lost.
