The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ciudad de Mexico:Libelulas (#1) and Blueskas (#5). Blueskas were crushed at home by 36 points 45-81 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Libelulas outrebounded Blueskas 43-27 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Adriana Chavez (170, college: St.Thomas, TX) who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Montserrat Onate chipped in 9 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Damaris Tapia who recorded 6 points and the former international Nancy Fermin (-1990) added 7 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Libelulas (15-1) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. Blueskas lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost.
