Thirteenth-rankedHurricane (4-6) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Jaguares (9-1) in Managua. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 48-45 . However their fans expected much easier game. Jaguares held Hurricane to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 21.1 percent accuracy of the winners.
