No shocking result in a game when tenth rankedCarazo (6-7) beat 17th ranked Jass (4-9) in Jinotepe 90-86 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Carazo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Armando Martinez (190-1988) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Point guard Adonis Garcia (-2000) accounted for 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Carazo's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Sergio Tenorio came up with 26 points and 7 rebounds and Michael Lampson added 14 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Jass in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Carazo went down to eleventh position due to points difference, which they share with Indigenas. Jass lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the sixteenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Bonanza and Hurricane.
