CIBACOPA top team -Tijuana Zonkeys (15-5) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (10-10) 92-83 . Tijuana players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. Brazilian center Joao Franca (215-1998) helped adding 22 points and 7 rebounds. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach Enrique Zuniga allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) with 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Cleveland Thomas (192-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Tijuana maintains first place with 15-5 record. Obregon at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost.
