The most exciting game of round 19 in the CIBACOPA took place in Ciudad Obregon. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th rankedHalcones de Ciudad Obregon (11-13) to fourth ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (14-10) 93-92 on Tuesday evening. Hermosillo made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) answered with 26 points and 7 rebounds and American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Obregon. Four Obregon players scored in double figures. Hermosillo maintains fourth place with 14-10 record. Obregon lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost.
