Very expected game when 9th rankedFrayles de Guasave (5-19) lost at home to third ranked Angeles (16-8) 119-112 on Tuesday. Angeles looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard DaQuan Bracey (180-1997, college: La Tech) who led the winners and scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists. Cambodian-American forward Dwayne Morgan (202-1996, college: SUU, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) came up with 30 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import swingman Mario Kegler (201-1997, college: Baylor) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively for Frayles in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Frayles de Guasave's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Angeles maintains third place with 16-8 record having just three points less than leader Tijuana. Frayles lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 19 games lost.
