The most surprising game was the first loss ofArabe de Valp. (4-1) in Valparaiso on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by ninth ranked Boston College (3-3) 79-76 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Arabe de Valp.. Boston College looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Lucas Marquez (196-2003) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Vicente Schulz (-2002) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Argentinian forward Diego Maranesi (-1997) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Carlos Aranda (200) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five Boston College and four Arabe de Valp. players scored in double figures. Boston College have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Luis Matte. Arabe de Valp. at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. Boston College is looking forward to face Municipal C. (#9) in the next round. Arabe de Valp. will play against the league's leader Colo Colo (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
