Regular Season Round 6: Quilpue - Truenos 61-57

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Truenos (1-5) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Quilpue (4-3) 61-57 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Jose Toledo (-2002) who scored 6 points and 17 rebounds. Hilario Sanchez (-1999) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Martin Morales who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and forward Nick Morales (187-1985) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Quilpue moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Stadio Italiano. Truenos lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. Quilpue will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Truenos will play against Boston College (#8) in Santiago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
