Regular Season Round 37: Quimsa - La Union 86-89

Important game to mention about took place in Santiago del Estero. Fourteenth ranked La Union (12-19) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Quimsa (13-15) 89-86 on Monday evening. Franco Gimenez nailed 28 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and guard Franco Chir (190-2002) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Raymon Bastardo (202-2002) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds and Facundo Campos (-2005) added 17 points and 6 assists respectively for Quimsa in the defeat. Five La Union and four Quimsa players scored in double figures. Despite that victory La Union went down to fifteenth position due to points difference. Quimsa at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 15 games lost. La Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Quimsa will play on the road against Argentino (#14) in Junin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
