Undefeated leaderHurricanes delivered the eighth consecutive win on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Trojans (2-8) 123-88 in Belmopan. Hurricanes dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Trojans ' 40 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Trojans 65-53 including 30 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Amar Ross (170-2000, college: Bethesda) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import point guard Tyrie Orosco (196, college: Cent.Penn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Ross is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Hurricanes players scored in double figures. Guard Jayden Lopez produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Tramarcus Levi (201-1997, college: Graceland) added 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hurricanes (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Trojans lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the sixth position with eight games lost.
