Regular Season Round 7: Brisas - Aleman 87-88

Bottom-rankedBrisas (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-87 loss to seventh ranked Aleman (4-2) in Santiago on Saturday evening. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for the former international Eduardo Marechal (186-1985) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Forward Jose Campos (-2002) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Aleman players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and Luis Cutis (-1995) scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aleman moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Arabe de Valp. Brisas lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Arturo Prat.
