There was no surprise in San Pedro where 5th rankedDream Ballers (3-5) were defeated by second ranked Tiger Sharks (6-3) 82-69 on Saturday. Tiger Sharks dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Dream Ballers ' 32. Tiger Sharks forced 29 Dream Ballers turnovers and outrebounded them 50-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American Richard Laku (206-1997, college: CSUSB) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Jihad Wright (193-1993, college: UNCP) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Delvon Henderson (200-1991) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 6 blocks and American point guard Deshawn Brackett (178-2001) added 23 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tiger Sharks have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-3 record having just one point less than leader Hurricanes. Dream Ballers at the other side keep the fifth position with five games lost.
