Regular Season Round 8: Truenos - Aleman 77-65

There was a small surprise when ninth rankedTruenos (4-5) won against 6th ranked Aleman (5-3) in Talca 77-65 on Wednesday. Truenos made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by forward Alessandro Morales who scored that evening 22 points and 4 assists and forward Nick Morales (187-1985) supported him with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Four Truenos players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 9 rebounds by center Sebastian Pereira (203-2005) did not help to save the game for Aleman . Forward Jose Campos (-2002) added 17 points for the guests. Aleman's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Truenos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Boston College. Loser Aleman dropped to the fourth position with three games lost.
