Important game to mention about took place in Ciudad Obregon. Eighth rankedPioneros Los Mochis (13-17) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (15-15) 90-88 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Halcones de Ciudad Obregon. Los Mochis players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Raphiael Putney (207-1990, college: UMass, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import Jared Wilson-Frame (196-1996, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Interperformances) who added 24 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Obregon players scored in double figures. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Los Mochis moved-up to seventh place. Obregon at the other side keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost.
