CIBACOPA top team -Tijuana Zonkeys (26-8) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Frayles de Guasave (7-27) 101-76 . Tijuana outrebounded Frayles 46-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. Tijuana looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Frayles ' players. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was swingman Cameron Mitchell (195-1992, college: IU Southeast) who scored 32 points. Forward Brandon McCoy (213-1998, college: UNLV) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach Enrique Zuniga felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) who recorded 27 points and 9 rebounds and point guard LaQuan Butler (183-2000, college: OBU, agency: Interperformances) added 18 points respectively. Tijuana maintains first place with 26-8 record. Frayles lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 27 lost games.
