Brisas has finally registered their first victory this season after ten consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in San Felipe, where they defeated Arturo Prat (0-11) 76-62 on Saturday. Strangely Arturo Prat outrebounded Brisas 44-32 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brisas made 7 blocks. Power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) fired 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Luis Cutis (-1995) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Fred Pierre (-1990) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Venezuelan Carlos Romero added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Arturo Prat players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Brisas maintains eleventh position with 1-10 record.
