Not a big story in a game in Chihuahua where 8th rankedCorrecaminos (2-6) were defeated by top-ranked Adelitas (6-0) 90-73 on Friday. Adelitas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Correcaminos ' players. Americans were the main players on the court. Bernice Mosby (186-1984, college: Baylor, agency: Promo Sport ID) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Adelitas players scored in double figures. Adelitas' coach Maikel Lopez used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Brittany Reeves (196-2000, college: Mercer) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Sarah Boothe (195-1990, college: Stanford) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Adelitas have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-0 record behind leader Fuerza Regia. Loser Correcaminos dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Abejas.
