There was a small surprise in Ciudad Victoria where seventh rankedCorrecaminos (4-6) beat 5th ranked Freseras (5-7) 85-79 on Friday. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Ciani Cryor (165-1997, college: Texas Southern) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Guard Shaylee Gonzales (178-2000, college: Texas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Sierra Moore (180-1994, college: Penn State) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Correcaminos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Panteras. Freseras lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with seven games lost.
