Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:Yale (#2) and 25 de Agosto (#6). 25 de Agosto was crushed at home by 22 points 53-75 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of 25 de Agosto. Yale forced 24 25 de Agosto turnovers. 25 de Agosto was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) nailed 28 points and 5 steals for the winning side and forward Florencia Carretero (-2004) accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds. Argentinian guard Rocio Bereilh (165-2001) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Argentinian power forward Debora Coli (180-2001) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for 25 de Agosto in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yale (8-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place behind leader Malvin. 25 de Agosto at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost.
