Seventh-rankedPanteras (6-12) were very close to win a game against second ranked Fuerza Regia (14-4) in Monterrey. Fuerza Regia managed to secure only three-point victory 98-95 . However their fans expected much easier game. Fuerza Regia shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. American players dominated also this game. It was a great evening for center Khaalia Hillsman (196-1996, college: Texas A&M) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Delicia Washington (178-1997, college: Clemson) helped adding 21 points and 4 assists. Power forward Stephanie Kostowicz (188-1995, college: Milwaukee) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Tanaya Atkinson (183-1996, college: Temple) scored 17 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia maintains second place with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader Adelitas. Panteras lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Freseras.
