Everything went according to plan when first rankedAdelitas (16-2) defeated 7th ranked Freseras (6-12) in Chihuahua 77-70 on Friday. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Bernice Mosby (186-1984, college: Baylor, agency: Promo Sport ID) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and guard Sierra Moore (180-1994, college: Penn State) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Freseras in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Adelitas . Defending champion maintains first place with 16-2 record. Freseras lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Panteras.
