LeaderFuerza Regia delivered the tenth victory on Thursday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Panteras (7-5) 87-73 in Aguascalientes. Fuerza Regia outrebounded Panteras 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Fuerza Regia shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American point guard Micah Speight (178-1998, college: S.Nazarene) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Wayne Langston (200-1993, college: Murray St.) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. American swingman Stedmon Lemon (198-1992, college: JCSU) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Brazilian Wesley Ferreira (201-1995) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fuerza Regia (10-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Loser Panteras dropped to the fifth place with five games lost.
