There was no surprise in San Luis Potosi where 14th rankedCorrecaminos (3-11) were defeated by seventh ranked Santos (8-6) 104-90 on Thursday. Santos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican point guard Tjader Fernandez (178-1994) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists and Turkish Alihan Demir (206-1996, college: Minnesota) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Santos players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Manuel Hernandez (193-1991) responded with 30 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Kameron Hankerson (196-1998, college: Green Bay) scored 19 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Santos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Correcaminos lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 11 games lost.
