Very predictable result in Guanajuato where eighth rankedDorados (8-6) defeated bottom-ranked Abejas (1-10) 84-80 on Friday. Dorados looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Lester Medford Jr (178-1993, college: Baylor) chipped in 8 points and 8 assists. Power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and guard Mustapha Heron (196-1997, college: St.John's) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dorados moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Panteras and Santos. Loser Abejas stay at the bottom position with ten games lost.
