Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo:Malvin (#2) and Urunday (#6). Urunday was crushed at home by 43 points 34-77 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Malvin dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Urunday 's 10. Malvin forced 19 Urunday turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Urunday 's players. It was a great evening for Argentinian forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Carolina Fernandez (186-2003) helped adding 21 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Malvin players scored in double figures. At the losing side Argentinian point guard Abril Ramirez (167-2000) responded with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Abril Mieres (170-2000) scored 3 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Malvin . Defending champion (6-1) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Yale. Urunday lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Hebraica and Remeros.
