Remeros can celebrate finally their first win this season after eight consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Urunday (0-9) 86-64 . Remeros made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Remeros outrebounded Urunday 54-32 including a 41-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Julieta Laubert (-2008) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU, agency: BIG) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Remeros players scored in double figures. Argentinian point guard Abril Ramirez (167-2000) answered with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and guard Camila Postiglioni (-2008) added 15 points in the effort for Urunday. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Remeros maintains fifth place with 1-8 record. It was Urunday 's ninth loss in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost.
