No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedPlateros (10-7) beat bottom-ranked Abejas (2-12) in Guanajuato 95-85 on Thursday. Plateros looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American center Deion McClenton (208, college: Keiser) notched 8 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Puerto Rican forward Angel Matias (194-1992, college: Georgia South) supported him with 18 points. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) did not help to save the game for Abejas . Alahjan Banks added 16 points for lost side. Four Plateros and five Abejas players scored in double figures. Abejas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Plateros have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Dorados. Loser Abejas stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
