Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:U.Atletica (#2) and Capitol (#6). U.Atletica (18-8) smashed visiting Capitol (13-13) by 26 points 79-53 . U.Atletica forced 19 Capitol turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Pablo Macanskas (196-1990) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Sebastian Alvarez (185-1989) who added 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four U.Atletica players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Miguel Barriola (193-1990) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Martin Aguilera (195-1987) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. U.Atletica maintains second position with 18-8 record having just three points less than leader Olimpia. Capitol at the other side keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Colon and Tabare.
