The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedFuerza Regia (20-6) in Guanajuato on Friday night. Visitors were edged by fifteenth ranked Abejas (6-19) 90-88 . Abejas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian-American point guard Nikolas Tomsick (183-1991, college: Fort Lewis) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 assists and American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) who added 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Abejas' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Jalen Adaway (196-1998, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Kendrick Ray (188-1994, college: KSU) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Abejas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourteenth place. Defending champion Fuerza Regia still keeps top position with six games lost.
