There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedEl Calor (13-15) edged higher ranked Panteras (17-11) in Aguascalientes 77-75 on Thursday. El Calor dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Panteras ' 36. El Calor looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Arinze Chidom (206-1997, college: UC Riverside) supported him with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four El Calor players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by American swingman Stedmon Lemon (198-1992, college: JCSU) did not help to save the game for Panteras . Brazilian Wesley Ferreira (201-1995) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. El Calor have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place. Loser Panteras keep the fifth position with 11 games lost.
