Not a big story in a game when 14th rankedLobos BUAP (7-21) lost to eighth ranked Soles (15-13) in Puebla 79-88 on Friday. Soles dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Lobos BUAP 's 38. American forward Michael Watkins (206-1995, college: Penn State) notched 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Ryan Pearson (198-1990, college: GMU, agency: Inception Sports) supported him with 24 points. Soles' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Desi Washington (188-1992, college: St.Peter's) did not help to save the game for Lobos BUAP . Nigerian-American power forward Maxie Esho (206-1991, college: UMass) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Four Soles and five Lobos BUAP players scored in double figures. Soles maintains eighth position with 15-13 record. Loser Lobos BUAP keeps the fourteenth place with 21 games lost.
