Regular Season Round 4: Platense - Ferro 71-72

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Ferro (2-2) edged higher ranked Platense (2-3) in Florida 72-71 on Saturday. The winners were led by guard Camilo Rodriguez (187-2006) who scored that evening 20 points and Tobias Flossi supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Ferro's coach Jonathan Laino used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds by Venezuelan Henyerberth Mata (201-2005) did not help to save the game for Platense. Joaquin Goncalves added 14 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Four Platense players scored in double figures. Ferro moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Instituto. Loser Platense dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Ferro will meet at home San Lorenzo (#17) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Platense will have a break next round.
