The most exciting game of round 7 in the Liga Wplay took place in Cali. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of their biggest opponentToros (6-3) to third ranked Storm (5-5) 90-87 on Monday evening. Carrib.Storm forced 21 Toros Del Valle turnovers. It was a great evening for American Desmond Holloway (194-1990, college: Coastal) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Romario Roque (175-1998) helped adding 24 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Five Storm players scored in double figures. Storm's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and Benito Santiago (197-1989, college: Cumberlands) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Carrib.Storm maintains third place with 5-5 record having four points less than leader Motilones, which they share with Piratas. Toros Del Valle at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost.
