Armenian-American Guard Andre Spight (190-G-1995, agency: Helping Ballers) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Obras Basket Buenos Aires, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, five rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Concepcion (#3, 0-2) with 18-point margin 93-75. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Obras maintains the 2nd position in Basketball Champions League Americas . But it's just the very beginning of the season and Obras won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Spight had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Obras' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Northern Colorado star has very solid stats this year. Spight is in league's top in points (2nd best: 24.0ppg), assists (2nd best: 6.0apg) and averages impressive 4.0spg,77.8% FGP and 42.9% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jordan Williams (196-G/F-1992) of league's second-best Hebraica Macabi Montevideo. Williams had a very good evening with 22 points and 4 rebounds. Of course Hebraica cruised to a 69-62 relatively comfortable win over Boca (0-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Williams is a newcomer at Hebraica, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.5ppg (#6). He also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Obras' star - forward Leandro Cerminato (201-PF-1998). Cerminato scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was another key player of Obras Basket Buenos Aires, helping his team with a 93-75 easy win against #3 ranked Concepcion in a game of the week. Obras has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Cerminato also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Cerminato as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.
