The game was mostly controlled by Flamengo. Boca was better in third quarter 16-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Alexey Borges (185-1995) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 assists. Power forward Ruan Miranda (207-2001) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Flamengo players scored in double figures. Swingman Martin Cuello (193-1993) answered with 16 points and point guard Jose Vildoza (191-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for Boca. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Lucas Dias (207-1995) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. Forward Alex Negrete (192-2001) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Emmitt Holt (201-1996, college: Providence) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
