Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Belize City: Hurricanes (#4) and Running Rebels (#7). Running Rebels were crushed at home by 16 points 72-88 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Hurricanes outrebounded Running Rebels 35-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Tyrie Orosco (196, college: Cent.Penn) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Devin Daly (195-94, college: L.Superior) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). American point guard Isaiah Thomas (188-93) produced 17 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. Running Rebels lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Hurricanes' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Belize City Defenders.
Leader Verdes delivered the tenth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Red Bandits (2-9) 112-57. American point guard Kris Frazier (201, college: Peru St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 21 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Davis Guzman contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kevon Laurie answered with 5 points and 9 rebounds for Red Bandits.
