American Swingman Mark Gordon (196-F/G) had a great game in the last round for Cayo Western Ballers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The player had a double-double of 43 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed Suns (#7, 1-11) with 39-point margin 100-61. Western Ballaz maintains the 3rd position in Belizean BEBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Western Ballers will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Gordon had a remarkable 54.2% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Western Ballaz, through which he has constantly improved. Former Keiser University star has very solid stats this year. Gordon is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.4ppg. Gordon is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.5rpg) and averages impressive 2.5spg,50.3% FGP and 45.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was another Western Ballers' star - young Belizean Glency Lopez (180-PG -1997). Lopez had a very good evening with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course together with Gordon he helped Cayo Western Ballers with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Suns (#7, 1-11) 100-61. Western Ballaz' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 7-4 record is not bad at all. Lopez is one of the most experienced players at Western Ballaz and similarly like Mark Gordon has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.1ppg (#9). He also recorded 4.9 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Nigel Jones (201-F -1990) of league's top team Belize City Defenders. Jones scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Defenders, leading his team to a 90-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Dream Ballers (#5, 6-6). Defenders confirms their top position in the standings. Jones has a great season in Belize. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.7ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 8.9rpg (7th best). Jones attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

10. Julian Gomez (SG) of Suns - 18 points and 7 rebounds
